Cub Pack 205 has an active membership. Our young scouts prepare to become Boy Scouts through this program.
 

Who are the Cub Leaders?

This strong and viable ministry of First Presbyterian Church is led by Mike Kiefer. We are thankful for Mike’s leadership and our den leaders’ support.

Who is eligible to be a Cub Scout?

There are four levels of Cub Scout.

  • Boys who are 7 years old or are in the first grade are Tigers.
  • Boys 8 years old or in the second grade are Wolves.
  • Boys 9 years old or in the third grade are Bears.
  • Boys who are 10 or 11 years old or is in the fourth or fifth grade are Webelos Scouts.

 

What kinds of activities does Cub Pack 205 participate in?

Activities that Pack 205 have enjoyed over the last year are: camping trips, BBQ Festival fund raising, attending a Charlotte Hornets game, Pinewood Derby, a Spring Campout, awards banquets in the fall and winter, and a year-end banquet at Hagan Sea Base.

 

When and where does Cub Pack 205 meet?

Pack 205 meets every other Thursday night, September through May, at 6:30 p.m. in the basement of First Presbyterian Church. The church is located at the corner of South Main Street and West Third Avenue in Lexington, NC. The basement can be accessed at the rear of the building through the exterior stairs that lead down to the basement area.

 

How do I become part of the Cub Scout program at First Presbyterian?

To become a Scout at First Presbyterian, simply join us at one of our meetings in the basement of First Presbyterian Church. You may join us any time during the school year. For additional information, please contact David Welborn at troop205@fpclexnc.com.
